Zurry has found a wonderful forever home
Everyone meet beautiful Zurry. This little girl has grown from the little pip-squeek in the pictures below to the true spitfire that she is now. She is still a puppy and has room to grow. She has that sweet loving face but the attitude and stubbornness the Malamute breed is known for. She is in a small package but I don't think she knows that. She thinks she is the biggest dog here with that "go getter" attitude. She has a beautiful open white face, with a shiny silver/white coat, and the most unique black tipped tail. Her dad is a champion weight puller, weighing over 150 lbs. Her brother Tork is here at Hudson's. Others may claim fame to this BEAUTIFUL girl but she is one of a kind. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. To imitate someone is to pay the person a genuine compliment - often an unintended compliment. Come meet Zurry's mom and brothers and other family members here at Hudson's Kennel. We look forward to seeing you soon. January 2010
Tork & Zurry's weight pulling father, Moses: Moses is an IWPA Record Holder on snow/natural surface for the 150lb class. In the IWPA, records can only be set at Championships. Moses set his record in 2003 at the Championships in Loveland, CO. Moses' father, Chunka, is also an IWPA record holder on snow/natural surface for the unlimited class (2001, Cheyenne, WY). Clicking on the link above will show you a full list of record holders since the IWPA's inception in 1984. There are only 4 malamutes on that list (through 2009). Tork & Zurry are descended from 2 of them!
