Hi Jolene; Our silly girl :) The 2 other dogs are our old Mini-Poodle, Amy and our baby Sheltie, Donovan. Donovan and Khali are the best of friends. Who would've thought? They team up on poor Amy, though because they're the young rascals and she's the elderly poodle. When she feels like it, she plays along. Susan   May 2010

Hi Jolene; Aww, thank you. You are the one who matched up her parents perfectly! I notice traits from both parents, and some of her own traits. She is laid back half the time, but the other half of the time she zooms around, chases the cat(though after a few times of telling her to "leave it" she will leave her alone!), plays "bitey-face" with the poodle, and gives us high 5's. She is thoroughly enjoying the snow, especially now that it's been accumulating quite rapidly. She's probably pretty close to being 80-90 pounds or so...she is HUGE. I will try my best to be prudent about updating. She's very photogenic :) I attached some photos along with this email...she likes to lay in very strange positions, whether she is in her crate or not. She will "spy" on you if you're in the shower, too. She loves to sing-is very vocal! But she always has been. I remember when we picked her up in TN and all she did was howl on the way home, and give us ear kisses. I'll go to the vet and get a copy of her spay certificate sometime this week. Hi Jolene; Khali was spayed in August and healed up nicely. She is getting along nicely with our poodle. They practically go everywhere with us, including Jesse's parents house for Christmas. She spent the night with us there on Christmas eve and was polite enough not to get into the presents and left the counter alone for the whole night. The rumours about Malamutes have proved to be true-she is the biggest pig I have ever met. We learned a long time ago not to leave any food on the counter, because she'd eat it the minute our backs were turned. She is so mischevious. She loves car rides, playing with Amy the poodle, snuggling with Jesse, jumping in piles of raked leaves, running, and more recently...playing in the snow! She also likes to eat the snow. Haha. The first picture attached is of her back in September. The second one was just last month. I will be taking some pictures of her in the snow so I can send them to you. Susan   January 1, 2010

Hi Jolene; We are smitten with our girl. She is very sweet and intelligent and likes to follow us around. She walked perfectly on a leash after the 2nd day! She is VERY confused about what cats are. It's pretty funny. She backs away and howls at them whenever she sees our cats. She attempts to play with my sister's chihuahuas in the way that Tawnie played with her. However, the chihuahuas don't really appreciate it. We took her to a family July 4th picnic where she met Jesse's side of the family. Everyone absolutely adores her! She's been doing pretty well with housebreaking and her stomach has gotten used to the new food. She LOVES Diamond Large Breed Puppy. Our poodle and her have been playing lately. Their favourite game is Tug-o-war. She will be starting puppy obedience classes very soon. I started to teach her basics, such as "leave it", "sit", "come", "kennel up", and "down". She has come a long way as far as learning new things. She was apprehensive about car rides at first, but now she readily hops into the car and will hop out all by herself! We are so very proud. And in case you were wondering, we named her Khali. Thank you for a wonderful puppy who is growing into a wonderful dog :) Susan   2009
