Hope things are going well for you and all your canine friends.

Here in Big Stone it is still unreasonably wet and muddy still; but we did get a few nice days. On one of those days I was able to tag along with Cheyenne, Talon, Sphynx and James to the park. So we had a photo day. Thought I would send a few along to you.

When we had our photo opportunity, Talon was about 7 months and Sphynx about 10 months.

I did get some pictures of Talon Blaze and my Sphynx.

And last night after wrestling practice, we weighed Cheyenne and then weighed him again holding Talon. She is 76 lbs and about 24 weeks. I know you remember she is Legend and Shinook's baby (if not little) girl.

Talon and Sphynx are incredibly close. They are almost inseparable. From the first the got along great. Sphynx was like an old mother hen. If we played with Talon, he would check her make sure she was still the same as before. For a while they were more interested playing with each other and all but forgot us lowly humans. Sphynx taught her to play games that we taught him. Like tug of war. It was incredible to watch him play keep away and tug of war with Talon. Their favorite thing to play tug of war with is, of course, Cheyenne's socks. Which aren't very wearable when they are done.

Over the past 5 months Sphynx and Talon have only grown closer. Cheyenne has to walk them at the same time, because if you try and take one and not the other, the that gets left behind goes spastic.

I can not imagine life without our mals. I have made a few changes to the new website. In the next week I will try and up date it. And I will try and do better about keeping you up to date on thier progres.

I thought I would send a few updated pictures of Sphynx Odin. He is growing into such a good boy. He is such a delight. I love to watch him run. He has so much energy!

Here is Sphynx Odin & Kristen Jade. They are pretty much best friends. When Kristen comes over Sphynxie will come flying from across the room to great her. She loves to have him chew on her hair. Kind of defeats my efforts to get him to stop chewing on the kids. Yesterday Kristen started Headstart. The first thing she did when she got off the bus was tell me that she loved school and missed Sphynx. If anyone asks her she will proudly tell them that Sphynx is my dog and hers. We share him.

At first Sphynx was too little to play with Riku. Riku seemed to thing he was a bunny (chomp). I didn't Sphynxie to get hurt. So we waited until Sphynx was a little bigger and tried again. This time it was like torture to poor Riku. All Sphynx wanted to was play, but when Sphnyx would nip and bite at Riku it didn't go over well. Poor Riku couldn't get far enough away. He would run and jump and dodge. He looked at Sphynx like, "just what is your problem dude?" But we kept working and now they are friends. Riku finally figured out that Sphynx just wanted a playmate. And now they do well together.

They really are good together. When Sphynx gets to rowdie, Riku uses his size. He drops and rolls bringing Sphynx to the ground. Not sure how long that advantage will last.

We love them both and they keep us busy.

We are all looking forward to bringing Talon home.

Just thought I would drop a note to let you know the boys are doing great in thier new home!

is now "Riku", and I don't he could found a better home suited to him. He has been the center of attention and he shows no signs of ever tiring of the affection.

He is actually quite good with the daycare children. He is gentle and loving. He is even protective of them already. One the little girls fell down, when Cheyenne picked her up she started to cry. Riku thought Cheyenne had hurt her and his bark and growl made it plain in no uncertain terms that nobody was going be allowed to hurt his little friends. Fortuantely he also responded well when Cheyenne told him to calm down, it was alright.

You were right about him being a big over grown puppy. His favorite place to be is in your lap.

Not only is he a hit with all the kids, most of the parents want to take him home. One of the mom's was late for work because she wouldn't stop playing with Riku. He loves it here and we love him.

The puppy, Spynx is the happiest little thing you will ever find. He loves his home, the kids and us. He loves to play and eat. If he doesn't get the attention he wants or his food dish is empty, he lets us know loud and clear. He is a howler, like a little wolf.

We could not have asked for two better boys! They are both PERFECT ADDITIONS TO OUR FAMILY. I already could not imagine home without them.
