here are a few pics of Mikou resting a bit after pulling the sleigh...once he gets going, he enjoys it very much...the pug loves it too..sometimes he rides in the box but mostly he likes to run alongside Mikou, thinking hes about the same size. he is just such a lovely dog that Mikou. People are amazed by his allure and his size, They stop to take pictures of him. They think hes a big Husky. Well, take care and thinking of you often.

Mikou just loves to pull the new sleigh...it glides on the lake like a breeze. We don't want to push the limit but at one and a half years old and weighing 140 he is surprisingly strong. He does really well for a first time mushing but gets distracted form the task easily when other dogs show up. it is amazing that he can learn it so easily. I guess pulling must be in his blood or something. hahaha!

here are a few picks of Mikou the mal...he wants to have the orange ball on the frigidaire...he sits and howls until someone gives it to him but we don.t want him to play with the ball in the house lest he slip and injure himself...but he wants it anyway. he is a very determined puppy and knows what he wants. I will send the latest picks of him from our hunting/camping trip on the island. he saw cows for the first time. did not do so well in the tent. he snucked into my sleeping bag and there was no getting him out of it. Also he snorts when he sleeps.but he's adorable. we just love him.

I hope that all is well with you and the wonderful work you are doing with those most precious dogs...I sent you an update about a month ago... I just wanted to let you know that Mikou is doing extremely well...he is still shedding...nevertheless he weighed in at at 140 on the vet's scale, two weeks ago (at eleven months)...and that's with many grocery bags of fur off him...he is adorable in every way and the most wonderful dog in the world. Valerie went to the airport to pick up her sister. The plane was delayed and for two hours Mikou felt like he had to entertain every body that came to greet him. He is so friendly and boasts such a nice disposition. We are planning a big party for his birthday. he will soon be one year on the eleventh of august. I think that you can imagine how big he is. We will have to measure him when he puts his front legs on my husband's shoulders. He is huge! have a good day.

Mikou (Sumo pup) is growing in leaps and bounds... He is so beautiful and is becomming such a nice, loving, gentle and mellow pup as he develops into his own. he was 10 months yesterday. He is a giant, or so people say. Weighed 128 pounds at the vet two weeks ago. We made a measurement approx. since he lives with my daughter right now. 30 1/2 for the body... two inches above the kitchen table... and 38 at the ears...he's a big boy that Mikou and he knows it. People say he is as big as a horse or a husky on steroids. Well, they exaggerate a bit. he,s not that big. But I'd say a larger than life pony. When he comes a running, i get out of the way bercause he'll run me right over. He broke his little toe chasing aftter a ball outside on the grass in march. But he healed real fast. It was amazing how soon he recuperated. he sleeps a good part of the day and comes alive in the evening. We just loved taking him for walks to the beach so he could frolick in the water. he was very much surprised to learn that he could swim. He's learning new things every day. A rabbit comes to visit him in the back yard...beetles and june bugs. he lloves everything and eats what bugs him... except the black flies. They get into his ears and he doesn,t like that.Thank God that season is over with. I stopped taking him for walks the day that he took me for a walk. Yea...he likes to play but he's so strong. He must think he's a boxer because he jumps up and shoulder checks. You really have to grip yourself when he's coming at you lest you go flying. We have tons of pics of him. I will send you some. Mikou is growing incredibly fast, we weighed him at the vet office yesterday and he was 99.5lbs! Just amazing!!! He's going to be 7mths old on the 11 of march. I get complements everyday when I take him for his walk, people find him so beautiful! I started taking him to doggie day care once a week and they love him there too. The trainer is amazed at how well he plays with others, very well behaved he is with other dogs, even the smallest ones, and people. He was quite a hand ful when he reached the 6mths old mark but he's calming down now. He was neutered just before he reached 6mths. Now we're waiting for the next stubborn puppy phase!! Patience, it pays off in the long run!! You breed amazing puppies!!! I thank god for him everyday. I'll keep you updated. Take care and good luck with your next batches!

happy new year! Hope all is well. These are the latest Mikou pictures, as you can see he is growing very fast and being very vocal about it!! What a cutie! We weighed him on new year's eve and he was 75lbs and only 4mths and 3wks!!! I can't believe it! The second picture is Mikou in his last puppy kindergarden class! He passed with flying colours! Well, I'll keep you updated, he'll be going into basic obedience this month so i'll be sending pictures of that. Take care!

Mikou the mal born of Sumo and Keva weight 33 pounds at the vet at two and a half months. He will be starting puppy education next week. is an amazing puppy is all I have to say. Is house-broken since last week... loves to play and romp... learned how to fetch and retreive...sits pretty and plays hide and seek...hides under the bed and when I call him he yelps. Sleeps all night from 7 pm to 5:30 am. Likes to go shopping at Petsmart. Likes to chew a chillybone. Plays ball with Grandpa who likes to hide things from him. Very smart puppy. Actually beginning to like my brushing his wool and massaging his paws. He can do his business on command if he has to go, of course. Pulls a lot...yanks the chain...likes to run...chases anything that moves in the wind...an excellent pup in every way.
