How are you?! I'm sorry it has been so long since we have been in touch. It's been a very active year, so time got away from us. Panda is healthy, beautiful and as sweet as ever. He turned five years old this year. Can you believe it? He is 160 lbs now! Wow! But the vet says he is a healthy boy and is not considered overweight because his weight is proportionate to his size. As he gets older, being part of his "pack" becomes more and more important to him. He likes to be near us at all times and loves big hugs and paw massages . He is one spoiled dog, I tell ya! We hope you have a wonderful holiday and we are all thinking of you and your beautiful malamute and human family. Talk to you soon!

I hope you are doing great. Here are some new pics of Panda on a day out at the beach. He is four years old now! I can't believe it. He's getting very needy, which is so funny for us because for years he was so independent and couldn't be bothered, unless of course my husband and I paid attention to one another and then he was right there grinning!
If we have not mentioned it in the past, he has learned some interesting "human" stuff. He has opened the mircowave with his nose and stolen burgers, pressed the ice machine on the refrigerator for an ice snack, opened a sliding glass door, turned on the bathroom faucet for a drink! You have bred some smart cookies! Anyway, we are loving him more than ever and every year he becomes an even more loving companion. We adore our mal!

I hope all is well. You have some beautiful new puppies! I just wanted to send you some pics of Panda. It has been so long. He had his 2nd Birthday in March and what a big boy he is! We always read that as mals age, they will become the best companions anyone could want. This is SO true. We all love Panda so much. He has grown to be such a sweet, gentle dog. He has the sweetest disposition ad he is rediculously smart. In the past two years he has learned how to get ice from the ice machine on the refrigerator, turn on the shower, open the sliding door, open the microwave, open a baby gate with his paw, and turn on the faucet on the back porch. It has not been a boring past two years with Panda in our lives!

We took Panda to the vet Saturday and he is now 130 lbs at 14 months old. We adopted a little black lab/collie mix as a sister for him. It's hectic, but he is a great big brother!
We hope everything is great for you and that all the dogs are doing well. We keep up on all the pictures of your past puppies...we can never get enough!

Sorry we haven't been in touch. Happy New Year. Panda is growing as you can see. He is 101 lbs and very healthy at 10 mnths old. He is incredibly mischevious, but a wonderful companion. We show him pictures of his mom and dad all the time! Panda has been busy in agility classes and graduated obedience a few months ago. He's also keeping the critters in the back yard on alert! We hope all is well and we'll be in touch.

Here are more pictures of Panda. Choose whichever pictures to show on the site if you would like. Our boy is so wonderful and sweet! As you can tell by our pictures, Panda is great with other dogs and kids. Here are his vitals to date, just for info:
5/7/05- 8 WEEKS- 15.60 LBS....5/28/05- 11 WEEKS- 26.40 LBS
6/19/05- 14 WEEKS- 36 LBS.....7/10/05- 17 WEEKS- 47 LBS
7/31/05- 20 WEEKS- 57.50 LBS.....8/20/05- 23 WEEKS- 65 LBS
As you can see, he gains about 10 lbs every 3 weeks. We feed him Eukaneuba Large Puppy and supplements of garlic, plain yogurt, cottage cheese, and vitamins from PetSmart. The Vet says he is healthy and beautiful! He is about 20-24 weeks in these pictures. We took him to the Bark Park, he made lots of friends!

Here are the pictures of Panda. He was about 3months old in these pictures. He just went to the vet today and now almost 50pounds and is perfect health. He has made many friends and is just the bigest ham, when i walk him at night people stop their cars and come out of there houses to see him. We hope to get more pictures of him soon and will send you those aswell.
