Hi Jolene It's been quite a while, but as I tried to get Leia to come in from the ice and snow for the umpteenth time today (she's been out laying in it since about 11am... it's now 520pm!) I got to thinking that it's been quite some time since we've sent you some pictures of our little princess. I can't believe we've had her for 2 1/2 years already.... time has certainly flown by. I wish I could take pictures of all the moments that make Leia so special... like this morning when she jumped onto the bed to keep me company and then managed to "give paw" right to my face --> her ears go instantly down flat as if to say, "Oh! I'm so sorry!!" She's quite the comedian and she's certainly come into her own. Her little sister tends to be more dominant, but Leia knows that if her bone gets taken from her, Mommy or Daddy will be getting it for her and giving it back... such a big dog and yet such a pushover! She constantly makes us laugh and you can tell when she gets in performer mode. Thanks for the love of our life and keep up the good work!!! Hi Jolene Sorry to send you so many different emails, but we have been so busy lately, and I hate not having updated the pictures that you have on your website. These last two pictures were just taken this past week, and you can really tell that Leia is beginning to lose that puppy face! She's the best thing to ever happen to us... thank you so much. We thought we got stopped a lot before, but ever since "8 Below" came out, everyone wants the chance to say hi to our beautiful baby. Hi Jolene please forgive us for not keeping you up to date more recently. Leia is now over a year old... and looking back over the last year amazes us at how small she used to be. I attached a couple pictures for your viewing pleasure.. the one of her in a crate is just funny b/c that is not her crate, yet she insists on squeezing her big body into it on a regular basis. I guess she likes confined areas. Mark and I have officially decided that we will never be without a malamute in our home. Leia is such a blessing and we love her so very much, that we just know after her we will need another and then another for their undying love and company. Hi Jolene Leia got a new sister last month. Here is a picture of her and very little sister Joey on day one. 4/23/05... they get along splendidly! Leia really is just so beautiful.. i think she's done growing taller, but she is certainly looking less lanky... Still get compliments on her every day. Hope all is well with you!! Hi Jolene We had company this weekend, including our 20 month old nephew, Logan. Leia and he got along splendidly and it reassured us that malamutes are excellent dogs around children. Leia January 23, 2005 Jolene, We bought our precious Leia from you at the end of October, 2004. She is the daughter of Zawarah and Thumper and absolutely beautiful. We wanted to send you some pictures of her so that you could see how big she is getting and how beautiful. Attached is a picture from October 29, 2004 when we picked her up at the airport, as well as some others that are dated in the titles. She's five months old tomorrow and weighs in at 54 pounds. We always get complimented for how beautiful and sweet she is. She loves everyone and approaches everyone and brings smiles to all of their faces. We've been going to Puppy Kindergarten for the last couple of weeks, and although she towers over her classmates, she plays with all of them so gently.
